Poem-n-verse is a friendly run site and all are welcome.
Once you have Registered and your account has been approved and activated, you can publish your Poems, Poetry and Verse in your own area of the site for others to read and comment on.
Maybe you want to just pop in and read some of the work already published by our members in the Poetry, Poems and Verse section of the site.
Don't fancy poetry? then take a look at the Short Stories that some of our members have written.
Is your Poetry good enough to win an award? then why not enter it in one of Moonie's monthly competitions in the Competition Corner of the site.

31 Doors
Standing cold and alone
Frozen in place
Surrounded by walls of ice
Tears frozen on my face
With my warmest coat
Gloves and scarf
I stand more than ready
To escape the tomb of winter
But before me
Stand 31 doors
And as I look
Through the small portals
I see paradise
The world of Spring awaits me
Green grass, Sunny skies
Fresh air
And Butterflies
But still so far away
31 doors
Opening one each day
For each open door
Brings me one day closer
To life renewed
Winter behind me
Spring before me
Longing to open the final door
But I must wait
Because, for now
I stand in the gray shadows
And look through the Portal
That is March
